Why Do I Defend People Arrested For DUI?
People arrested for DUI come from all walks of life and all ages. I am helping out professionals, Men and Women, people who work in business, education, government, the legal field, health care and medicine, law enforcement and armed forces, arts and entertainment, science and technology, everyone. Most of my clients are not “hardened criminals” and most have never been in trouble before. It’s an honor to fight for people who really need and want help. DUI Defense requires understanding the law, Court, DMV, science, and people. Helping people is rewarding and it’s in my blood. Representing those accused of DUI allows me to defend a person who needs someone to fight their case and be there for them during what is often the most traumatic time in their life.
DUI cases are extremely complex. They involve the science of breath and blood tests, how alcohol and drugs interact with the human body, issues of absorption and elimination of alcohol and drugs from the human body. We are dealing with driver’s license issues, driver’s license suspensions, expert witnesses on blood testing, breath testing and field sobriety tests. My role requires trying to keep people driving, trying to keep clients from not losing their jobs, and being there in every way I can which includes advice on life, work, addiction, and a lot of emotional support. It takes skill, knowledge and really caring about people to properly defend these cases and get someone through this long complex process.
